Sian Hiscock - Wingscapes
Wingscapes is a collection of pastel paintings on board by artist Sian Hiscock that stems from a life-long love affair with all things lepidoptera.
In this series Sian explores the abstract through the delicate and intricate world of butterfly and moth wings. The artworks pushes the boundary of traditional representation of insects, and captures the essence of shape and colour in a purposely enigmatic manner.
