Welcome to Frihamnstorget!

A co-created container village

Located in the old harbor area in Frihamnen, Stockholm, this little square is brimming with potential and creativity. Here you will find studios, cafés, bars, offices, workshops and galleries and during the summer season the whole area is becoming an open air venue.  Come experience circus, urban farming, concerts, art exhibitions, outdoor cinema, and much, much more!

What happens here?

In the midst of the container environment we host a cultural program with circus, outdoor cinema, concerts, festivals and vernissages in the gallery. The season starts in April with Valborg and ends in September with Mushroom Festival

There is also a community of villagers that have their own containers. If you are looking for a space to do your art or smallscale business you are welcome to get a container and move in!

In this vivid environment we also have a variaty of ongoing projects. From urban farming and civic action initiatives, to city development and cultural activities.

Frihamnstorget is run in a collaboration between Frihamnens Kulturförening and Blivande, a place for participatory culture and organisations in Frihamnen, Stockholm. This is a homegrown community full of people who dream, aspire and want to feel at home, all existing within the Blivande ecosystem.
